  Alta Vista

Alta Vista is a primarily residential community in the South of Ottawa. It boasts schools, churches, and community centres along with greenspace and parks. It is also home to the Ottawa General Hospital and the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario and two shopping malls: Billing Bridge Plaza and Elmvale Shopping Centre.

 Hunt Club

Named after the prestigious golf club of the same name, Hunt Club features parks and greenspace. Its demographic is widely mixed with single dwellings, semi-detached and townhouse units, apartments, retirement homes, and condos. It is close to the Ottawa Airport and shopping and restaurants on Hunt Club Road.

 South Keys

Centred around the South Keys Shopping Centre, South Keys was voted one of the 20 best neighbourhoods for first time homebuyers in 2012 by Ottawa Magazine. With Bank Street, the Airport Parkway, and the Transitway passing through the community, it’s an easy commute to get downtown no matter how you travel.

 Riverside South

Riverside South is a relatively new small suburban community located to the South of the City. It is close to the Ottawa Airport and is now connected to the much larger community of Barrhaven by the Vimy Memorial Bridge which provides many great amenities.

 Findlay Creek

Located in the South End of Ottawa, Findlay Creek is a small but growing suburban neighbourhood with a population around 5000 people. It features single dwellings, semi-detached homes, townhouses, and condos.

 Greely

Greely is a rural community that is quickly growing in the former Township of Osgoode. It is the largest rural village in the city! It is home to many tight-knit and unique communities and many homes sit on large properties between ½ to 2 acres.

 Manotick

Manotick is a picturesque little community in the South of the city. It is rich in history and has a strong sense of community. Check out Dickinson Days in the summer and take a stroll down in the city centre to check out all the amazing shops and restaurants.

 Barrhaven

With a population of close to 100,000 people, Barrhaven is a large suburban community located to the South-West of the city on the outside of the Greenbelt. Barrhaven boasts many schools, parks, and recreation facilities. A strong group of community associations put on many great events throughout the year including Canada Day Celebrations and Oktoberfest. Shopping and restaurants are abundant so there is always something to do!
